The new Board of Directors of AENB.

During the last few months AENB went through the steps of the electoral process to form the new Board of Directors. Given that only one candidature was presented, fulfilling all the precepts of the statutes, this candidature was automatically chosen. Below you have the profiles of the persons who form the new team. They all have an extensive nautical trajectory and they are keen to continue fighting for the sector and for the benefit of all our associates. 

Chairman 

Margarita Dahlberg - DAHLBERG S.A. 

Career: A technician specialized in electronics, Administrator of Dahlberg S.A, together with her sister Rosa. Company founded by their father in 1961. After a generational change-over in 1984 the company became a market leader in its field, dedicating itself to supply, design, installation and technical service of nautical telecommunications and sanitary systems. President of the Association of the Balearic Nautical Enterprises from 1999, Secretary of FENIB and of CMIB. Hobbies: Passionate about the sea and watersports. Active member of various associations.

Jaume Vaquer - JAUME VERMELL NAUTICA S.L. 

Career: Third generation director since 1993 of the company based in Porto Cristo that dedicates itself to new and second hand boat sales, consultation, after sales service and auxiliary services like preparation, wintering, maintenance, repair and restoration. 

2nd Vice-chairman 

Diane Franklin - E CUBED SYSTEMS S.L. 

Career: Double graduate in Business Studies and Spanish Filology from Leeds University Business School (BA Joint Honours). Marketing Manager at e3 Systems, a market leader in nautical electronics specialized in communication systems for superyachts. Member of the Chartered Institute of Personnel and Development, EU Working Group, Board of AENB, Board of AEGY. Hobbies: Loves the sea, live-aboard on a 12 meter sailing yacht during 8 years. 

Treasurer 

Pedro Palou - INTELIGENCIA DE GESTION NAUTICA S.L. 

Career: Economy graduate from the University of the Balearic Islands and a Harbour Master from North West Kent College. Employed for 10 10 years in various positions in the Public Administration. Responsible of marketing of the Balearics Ports for 6 years. Director of his own company. Hobbies: Passionate about the sea and water sports. 

Secretary 

Tina Campins - NAUTICA ROSSELLO S.L. 

Career: Certified degree in Business studies at the University of the Balearic Islands with a specialty in Accounting and Finances. Various courses in business management and administration, finances, accounting, marketing and information technology. Representative, head of the administration, director, commercial, purchase, sales, accounting, human resources etc. of the family company founded in 1995, specialized in chandlery, storage, wintering and mechanics. Hobbies: active member of various associations 

Board Members 

Francisco Massanet - ENAVAL S.L. 

Career: Active in the sector for more tan 20 years, half of it as a director. One of the first ones to have a nautical company on the island. Started as an installer i the beginning of the 90´and year 2000 he had a chance to become the director of the company specialized in equipment sails, chandlery, electronics and communications systems. 

Francisco Llabrés - NAUTICA MARTIN 

Career: Started in a car rental company, but found a market gap in his area and started a chandlery with two associates over 30 years ago. Is the sole owner now of the company specialized in boat and equipment sales and a chandlery. Hobbies: passionate about Formula I. 

Margarita Clar - FERDINAUTIC SCP 

Career: Family company founded in 1990, dedicated to equipment sales, chandlery, mechanics, sanitation, electricity, electronics, communications systems, airconditioning and cooling systems for médium and large size yachts. Started as self employed and have 10 employees at the momento, with a second generation ready to join in. 

Diego Orallo - FANAUTIC CLUB S.L. 

Trajectory: Worked 3 years from 2002 as a medical company salesman and son after started as a self employed entrepreneur. Combining his work at the family company of event management, Global Events Palma, he started also his business adventure with a chárter company in 2007. His 6 years of experience allow him to succesfully lead this innovative and original product. 

Santiago Orfila - COLEGIO OFICIAL DE INGENIEROS NAVALES Y OCEANICOS 

Career; Dean of the Balearic College of Naval Ingeneers from October 2011 

Patricia Bullock - ALTIUS S.A. 

Career: Founder of the Network Group in 1988, which initially dedicated itself to consultation and general information for non-residents. After a while they expanded to chárter, and have already over 25 years of experience in this sector. From 1993 they gradually saw the necessity to create a consultancy specialized in VAT and other tax issues. During the last 15 years they have accumulated a wealth of experience and know how in this field, which has pushed the company to another level. They are now the Balearic delegation of the company Altius S.A, which is one of the biggest spanish companies dedicated to logistics, specialized international transport and customs. 

Simon Crutchley - SUNBIRD S.A. 

Career: Portals Nous based brokerage company active since 1986. Apart from new and second hand boat sales they offer services ranging from consultancy and charter to international boat deliveries. 

Javier Martínez - MOTONAUTICA BALEAR S.L. 

Career: Second generation at the helm of a company with over 30 years experience in the sector. They started selling accessories, extended to motors and finally to boat sales, charter, storage, wintering, mechanics, carpentry and fiber work. Javier steers the family company with his two brothers. Hobbies: Pole line fishing – Javier and his brother have won Balearic Championships. 

Sarah Lopez - LATITUDE 39º 34’ YACHT SERVICES S.L. 

Career: BA International Business Administration, International Business/Trade/Commerce en 1994 in the Brunel University. Director and owner of the Latitude 39º, a company specialized in provisioning and tailor made services for yachts. 

Esteban Horvath - ESCUELA DEL MAR 

Career: Economic Science and Business Graduate, professional in Market Investigation, Marketing, Publicity and Charter. Owner of the sea school Escuela de Mar. 

Antonio Socías - DINATEC 

Career: 33 years of experience in the nautical world. Director of the chandlery Dinatec (Náutica Toni Socias S.L) since 20 years, worked before at Náutica Rossello. Member of AENB since 10 years, and starting his third term as a member of the Board.
